The above is one of the many paintings I’ve executed over the years. It’s great to be painting again, I’m looking forward to the series of paintings and posters I’ve been commissioned to do for The Bodega at St. Peter’s Market, opening soon. Call back here to see them shortly!

I love Hotel Inspector. She turns a hotel on the verge of bankruptcy with her straight talking, no nonsense approach into a prospering business. She knows the importance of design and advertising, and I often hear her ask a hotel proprietor when was the last time they had their menus designed! An old fashioned, bland library book cover does not sell for customers. Don’t go to the trouble of having the best chef, food and wine and have your menus let you down. Consult with Annagram on the best choice of menus for your Restaurant/Cafe/Hotel. Remember presentation is everything and design speaks volumes!

A good photograph can make or break a design. An expression, a shadow, lighting can not only make a design, it can make it brilliant. Or worse, a badly taken photograph of a business premises can ruin a presentation, and it can be very disappointing. (And it’s disappointing for me too, a disposable camera-hurried shot lets me down! There’s only so much airbrushing I can do if everything is wrong. Photoshop is brilliant, and yes it does have a magic wand, but there are limitations. I can’t change an angle on an entire building!) Don’t take a chance! Make sure your photos are beautiful, so consult with Annagram first!

Looking forward to the new exhibition in Crawford Art Gallery on Daniel Maclise - Romancing the Past. There are free tours in the Gallery on Thursday at 6.30pm. The exhibition will be running until February next year. It seems only great artists are only appreciated until after their death. Maybe I could just fake mine? Ha ha
